Police arrest Abuja fraud gang

The Nigerian police says it has arrested in Abuja seven members of a fraud syndicate, specialising in the forgery of certificates and other documents.According to Frank Mba, chief superintendent of police and spokesman of the Police High Command, the suspects were arrested by a team of operatives attached to International Police Organization (INTERPOL) section, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja.The team nabbed the suspects following a tip-off and accompanying discreet investigation, with the police team presenting themselves as prospective clients.Police logo
