Nasarawa Impeachment Fails As Panel Dismisses All Charges Against Governor Al-Makura
The seven-member panel investigating allegations of gross misconduct against Governor Umaru Al-Makura has dismissed all the charges.
The panel dismissed the charges after concluding its work and listening to the counsel to the Assembly on Tuesday morning.

The State Assembly had on Monday declared the inauguration of the panel by the State Chief Judge, Suleiman Dikko, as unconstitutional saying it would stay away from the probe.
But on Tuesday, the Assembly made a u-turn, and sent a legal team led by Ocha Ulegede to represent it before the panel.

Adamawa Assembly sacks Governor Murtala Nyako
Embattled Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, has been impeached.
The governor was removed Tuesday afternoon as the state House of Assembly deliberated on the report of an investigative panel that probed allegations of financial misconducts against him.
Seventeen of the 25 members of the Assembly adopted the report of the panel after Speaker Umaru Fintiri read the report on the floor of the House.
The report found the governor guilty of all the 16 allegations of gross misconduct leveled against him by the House.

Adamawa accounts frozen by EFCC –Nyako
The plot to impeach the Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, took a dramatic twist on Thursday, as he has cried out that forces behind the plot have frozen the state government’s accounts.He said this in a telephone interview with one of our correspondents in Abuja, on Thursday.
Nyako, who spoke through his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Ahmad Sajoh, also said he had yet to receive a copy of the impeachment notice.
He said, “They have frozen all our accounts today; no reason has been given for the action. We were not served any notice and nobody has told us why our accounts were frozen.

• Associates allege plot to oust Amaechi
AN investigation into the activities of Adamawa top government officials over an alleged massive fraud by them Wednesday reached its climax as the Assembly members directed the Clark of the House to serve an impeachment notice on Governor Murtala Nyako and his deputy Mr. Bala Ngillari.
Citing several constitutional breaches by the embattled governor, the Deputy Speaker of the House, Laori Kwamoti, moved a motion for the impeachment of the governor, arguing that Nyako had grossly violated his oath of office.
