President Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan has described the death of distinguished former banker Chief
Oluwole Adeosun as a painful and sad loss.
President Jonathan
while recalling Chief Adeosun’s laudable career in the banking sector, also
commended his contributions as Secretary of Transport, Aviation and Communications
under the Interim National Government (ING) headed by Chief Ernest Shonekan in
1993.
“As Chairman of the
National Pensions Commission (PENCOM), Chief Wole Adeosun contributed immensely
to pension reforms and the nation will no doubt miss his uncommon experience
and expertise,” the President said.
