Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has explained why he passed under a barbed wire at Murtala Muhammed International Airport during his tenure as governor of the state.Reacting to the picture, which went viral on the Internet, the former governor said he passed under the barbed wire because time was running out and he did not want to miss his flight.
He subsequently debunked claims by the All Progressives Congress that he committed the act in order to beat airport security and launder money.
Commenting on the picture, an APC chieftain and former governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni, had said Fayose was not worthy of being a governor because he lacked decorum.
